International Partnerships at Murray Park School

At Murray Park School, we believe in fostering global connections that enhance our students’ educational experiences and broaden their perspectives. Our Sister Schools in China

Since 2019, we have established strong partnerships with two outstanding schools in Hefei, China. These relationships have been developed with the support of the Global School Alliance, helping to create meaningful exchanges between our students and staff.

Hefei Luyang Middle School

Hefei Luyang Middle School is the largest public junior high school in Hefei, officially enrolling students since September 2005. The school is situated in the heart of Luyang District, surrounded by Forest Park and Dafangying Reservoir, providing a tranquil yet vibrant learning environment.

Spanning 40.3 acres, the campus features 36 classes and a state-of-the-art infrastructure, including two teaching buildings, a comprehensive laboratory building, and an office building. The school boasts high-quality educational facilities such as modern science laboratories, multimedia rooms, music and art rooms, and a well-equipped library. Additionally, students benefit from excellent sports facilities, including both indoor and outdoor standard sports fields.

Hefei No. 42 Middle School

With a proud history dating back to 1906, Hefei No. 42 Middle School is a prestigious institution that has maintained its reputation for academic excellence for over a century. The school covers more than 13,800 square meters, with a total building area of 22,760 square meters. It currently serves over 3,300 students across 47 teaching classes and is supported by 151 dedicated faculty and staff members.

The school is known for its innovative teaching methods and a strong commitment to academic success. Its faculty includes numerous “Provincial-Level Rising Stars in Education” and “City/District-Level Key Teachers,” contributing to the school’s impressive achievements in student qualification rates, subject competitions, and high school entrance examinations. Hefei No. 42 Middle School remains a leading institution in Hefei City, consistently delivering outstanding results in student progression and academic performance.

Our Exchange Program

Murray Park School first visited our sister schools in 2019, establishing a foundation for collaboration and cultural exchange. In 2025, we returned to Hefei to further strengthen our partnership, engaging in classroom exchanges, collaborative projects, and discussions on educational best practices. These visits have not only enhanced our students’ global awareness but have also provided invaluable professional development for our staff.

Through these partnerships, our students gain the opportunity to communicate with peers in China, explore different educational systems, and appreciate diverse cultural perspectives. These experiences play a crucial role in preparing them for an increasingly interconnected world.
