The teaching of mathematics at Murray Park School is geared towards enabling each student to develop the mathematics skills and understanding required for later life and also an enthusiasm and fascination about maths itself.

We aim to increase the students’ confidence in maths so that they are able to express themselves and their ideas using the language of maths with assurance. The students are encouraged to think logically and to solve mathematical problems both within mathematics lessons and in other curriculum areas.
