The Citizenship curriculum provides students with the knowledge, skills and understanding to prepare to play a full and active part in society. Citizenship education fosters the students’ awareness and understanding of democracy, government and how laws are made and upheld and also includes finance education.
Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) is taught throughout key stages 3 and 4. The students learn how to stay safe and healthy and how to manage their academic and social lives in a positive way. Teaching about mental wellbeing is central to these subjects.
Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE), Citizenship, Careers Education and Religious Studies form our Personal Development programme at Murray Park School. For further information regarding our careers provision, please click here.
