Well done to all our wonderful students who worked so hard to achieve some impressive results. Thanks should go to our staff and parents who worked tirelessly to ensure our students were well supported and rose to the challenge of the new GCSEs.

English Language and English Literature rose to 72% Grade 4 and 55% Grade 5 and above. 74% of students in Modern Foreign Languages gained a Grade 4 and 56% a Grade 5 and above. We are particularly pleased with Construction, Art and Photography, where students gained well above national averages.

Of particular note were the following students :

  • Zuzanna Oledrzynska gained Grade 9 in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geography with Grade 7 and 8 in all other subjects - a brilliant set of results;

  • Abbie Leeson achieved Grade 9 in English Language, English Literature and Photography, Grades 6, 7 and 8 in all other subjects;

  • Lily Keogh gained Art Grade 9, Business Studies A*, English Language and English Literature Grade 8, Science Grade 8 and 7, Maths Grade 7, Computer Science Grade 5,

  • Reuben Norman gained Grade 9 in PE, Grade 8 in Physics, Maths and Chemistry Grade 7 in English in Language and Biology and English Literature Grade 6 Level 2 Distinction in Rolls Royce Engineering;

  • Jude Barnes gained a Grade 9 in Physics, Grade 8 in Maths and Chemistry and good passes in all other subjects.

A great achievement and a fantastic springboard to their next steps. Good luck!
