A Safe and Caring Environment
Rewards and Responsibilities
Hard work, achievement and good behaviour are
celebrated at Murray Park School. Students who
do their best and perform well are awarded reward
stickers which can be exchanged for rewards, such
as gift vouchers and support for school trips. Reward
stickers may be awarded for a number of reasons
including outstanding work, evidence of progress
in work, service to the school and community or
involvement in extra-curricular activities such as
sport or music.
Pastoral Care
The form tutor is the first point of contact and plays a
central role in your child’s school life: Each morning
your child will participate in a variety of activities
including
• Planner/Uniform/Equipment check
• Assembly
• Thought for the week
• Monitoring their own attendance
Behaviour Policy
The School Code of Conduct is a summary of our
basic rules and expectations. It is displayed on all
classroom walls and referred to regularly. We expect
students to take responsibility for their behaviour by:
• Attending on time and in uniform
• Being polite and respectful
• Bringing the correct equipment and working hard
• Acting sensibly and following instructions from
staff
• Respecting the school site
‘The behaviour of students is good.
Students are proud of their school…
they are friendly and well-mannered
and are respectful.’
